explai continuous to grow by strengthening its leadership team for the upcoming Q4 market launch. Dr. Andreas Junghanns, a seasoned entrepreneur and AI expert, joins explai GmbH as Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer in October 2024.
Andreas earned his PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Alberta in 1999. Following five years at Daimler Research he co-founded and managed QTronic in Germany, Romania and China to set new standards for embedded software development and testing in the automotive industry. Andreas developed key parts of the product, such as co-simulation of high-fidelity controller models with high-fidelity plant models. Under the leadership of Andreas and his co-founders, QTronic developed into a key player in the international automotive virtualization market and achieved excellent growth and profit margins, culminating in its acquisition by Synopsis in 2019.
Andreas joins explai at a pivotal moment as we prepare our go live with pilot customers. His decision to join our team is a testament to the technological and commercial potential of our product. At the same time, his invaluable expertise both as deep tech entrepreneur and AI expert will accelerate and safeguard our market entry.
